Live Worms Gallery, North Beach
Inspired by the 1863 Salon des Refusés exhibition in Paris—an exhibit of work rejected by the annual Paris Salon—this SF exhibition celebrates the artists not selected for the 2020 de Young Open. I’m happy to be among this group of incredibly talented individuals! My seascape painting Dappled Sky (48x48 inches) is one of 50+ works being featured in the heart of North Beach.
Live Worms Gallery is open for socially distanced visits and during the North Beach First Friday on Dec 4th. There’s a limit to how many visitors (10-12) can be in the gallery at any one time, so rather than a traditional opening night event, the gallery will host Open House Weekends—stop in and enjoy a beverage, listen to some Live Music and peruse the show! Masks, hand sanitizing and social distancing required. And if you’re unable to see it in person, the exhibit can also be enjoyed virtually on the gallery’s website.
