Much like the ecliptic work, these paintings are also collaged with string—or deconstructed canvas—although in a more haphazard manner. Acrylic paint, silver leaf, wallpaper or other items are often introduced underneath, challenging the artist to establish a composition from the purposeful disorganization. The work is finished off with multiple layers of glazes and oils, allowing an image to slowly emerge from the chaos.
