I'm excited to be spending a month as an Artist-in-Residence on Svinøya Island in Svolvær, Norway. North of the Arctic Circle, Svolvær is part of the Lofoten archipelago in the county of Nordland. According to the Huffington Post "Lofoten just might be the world's most beautiful archipelago." This looks like the ideal spot for intensive creation and experimentation. Stay tuned for the results!
The residency program is operated by the North Norwegian Art Center in downtown Svolvær, a short walk across a bridge from the island.
