White II is a mixed media piece on 1.25" thick canvas. It has an acrylic underpainting of whites and grays over which thin pale blue yarn was collaged with gel medium. Cool whites, pale blues and grays were then applied in oils, creating a beautifully subtle composition surrounded by unprimed canvas.
