Warm Gray is a mixed media piece on 1.25" thick canvas. It was created with a dynamic acrylic underpainting which was then collaged with thin, pale blue yarn. The yarn collage suggested the ecliptic composition, which was completed using textured layers of oil paint. Surrounding the form is flat acrylic paint.
