Soft Gray is a mixed media piece on 1.25" thick canvas. It was created with a dynamic acrylic underpainting over which fabric was then collaged. After additional painting, a string made of deconstructed canvas was applied. The piece was then finished in oils, using subtle gradations within the circular form to soften the over all composition.
