Red White is a large, 7-foot wide mixed media piece from our "Organic" series on 1.25" thick canvas. It has an dynamic acrylic underpainting of navy blues, whites and browns on top of which string (made from deconstructed canvas) was collaged. Multiple layers of translucent red and white oil paint and glazes were then applied, creating a dynamic composition that makes a big statement.
